Continuing our blog on laser treatments offered by us, here's a look of the rest of them:
Laser Genesis: This skin rejuvenation treatment helps improve the overall texture of your skin. It helps educe fine-line wrinkles, large pores, and scars. Laser Genesis may also stimulate growth of new collagen. We recommend a treatment every 4 weeks for 4 to 6 weeks.
Titan
This is also a skin rejuvenation treatment where the focus is on improving overall skin tightness. This procedure can be performed on all skin types. This treatment also stimulates new collagen growth. We recommend two treatments separated by four to six weeks.
Pearl
This is an ablative skin resurfacing procedure which improves fine-lines, wrinkles, and uneven textured and sun damaged skin. Patients are given a topical anesthetic and we recommend 1 to 2 treatments spaced out over a four week period. This procedure does have a 4-5 day down-time when the skin peels off to expose new healthy skin from below.
Non-invasive skin resurfacing treatments are safe but you should always visit an experienced practitioner when getting these procedures done. Contact our office to schedule your appointment today and walk away with beautiful, healthy skin that will make you look younger.

Laser Genesis Skin Therapy is a procedure used to create vibrant and smoother skin. A laser uses light to penetrate the skin to the area where collagen is manufactured and stimulates the growth of new collagen.
Laser Genesis Skin Therapy works without the need to destroy the upper layers of your skin. It removes scars, wrinkles, large pores and helps smoothen out the skin texture.
In Laser Genesis skin rejuvenation, laser light is targeted on the deeper layer of the skin where collagen is made. The laser heats the layer of skin which causes the production of new collagen production that continue over time. This results in a more toned skin, tighter pores and a smoother skin texture. This treatment also reduces redness of the skin and any vascular lesions that may be present.
The Laser Genesis procedure is considered safe assuming it is delivered by an experienced, board-certified surgeon.

Summer's here and once again it may be time to assess your skin care routine. Simple care can go a long way in maintaining healthy skin and preserving your beauty.
So how will you keep your face looking young and fresh?
Here are three simple steps to do so:
- Exfoliate: So important and yet something that most people don't do on a regular frequency. Exfoliation opens pores and should be done at least two times per week.
- Moisturize: Use a moisturizer which hydrates your skin and keeps it soft year long.
- Use sun-protection: A moisturizer with SPF 15 is a good way to protect your skin from sun damage. Apply it at least 30 minutes before going outside to get optimal protection.
The above steps will protect your skin against premature wrinkles. And of course cosmetic treatments like Botox and facial peels can also help reduce wrinkles and lines if you feel that it's time to get some cosmetic intervention.
Be sure to consult with a board-certified physician when thinking of undergoing any cosmetic procedure.

With spring around the corner and summer coming up soon, if you are concerned about skin care, keep in mind that "less is more". If you face skin problems like acne or rosacea, simple skin care regiments and using fewer products will help you better manage the redness that arises from these conditions.
If you have sensitive skin, a mild cleanser and a good moisturizer with sunscreen are the only two real products you need. Acne can be treated with over-the-counter products that contain salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. Also, going to a good doctor may help you identify the underlying reason and the correct treatment for your skin problems.
Don't use too many products at once or cover yourself with heavy makeup if you have sensitive skin. And be sure to always wear sunscreen to protect yourself from skin disease or skin cancer.
